Project Management
The Promoting Learning and Teaching Communities: Institutional Leadership Project was managed by The Australian National University through the Center for Educational Development and Academic Methods, (CEDAM). Linda Hort, the Centre Director managed a team of project staff with skills in leadership capability development, academic practice and teaching and learning. The project team was guided by a Reference Committee.The Project Reference Committee supported the project within the ANU and within the higher education sector, and assisted the project team in defining and understanding both the leadership and teaching and learning challenges facing the higher education sector.
The Project Reference Committee chnaged over time but did consist of:

- Professor Paul Blackmore, Director, Centre for Higher Education Development, Coventry University, UK
- Mr Alex Clarke, Senior Lecturer, School of Finance and Applied Statistics, ANU College of Business and Economics
- Professor Lawrence Cram, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Chair of University Promotions Committee, ANU
- Dr Linda Hort, Director, CEDAM, ANU
- Dr Margaret Kiley, CEDAM, ANU
- Ms Denise Higgins, Project Worker CEDAM, ANU
The project was accountable to the Carrick Institute and the Project Manager there was Elizabeth McDonald.
